Irish BEV Sales – April 2020

As expected, car sales in April collapsed in Ireland, like in many other countries, by 96%. BEVs are doing a bit better at -83% and a unexpected 14.5% of the market, thanks once again to the Tesla Model 3. And it is even the 6th most popular car all energies considered…. Of course this month everything is to be taken with a pinch of salt, when you know that this month best selling car is the Toyota Land Cruiser, all of which are actually for Irish Defense Forces!

But despite this gloomy situation, we have a newcomer ! The first Opel Corsa-e has been registered last month. See the table below for full details.
