Now, I know what you are thinking. That title doesn't relate to us here in Ireland, but we feel it's an important one to share all the same! Because it shows where Irish companies are making an impact in the wider EV charging infrastructure space. And fundamentally it shows that companies like EasyGo are being awarded contracts like this, and it is a sign of confidence to the calibre of work that is coming from our fair Isle!
So, what's happening you ask? To take the first part of their press release "EasyGo has been awarded a 20-year contract to provide EV charging infrastructure for the north of Scotland. The contract, valued at approximately £300 million, covers the Highland, Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and Moray Council areas, with Highland Council acting as the lead authority". This is a substantial timeline and investment, and as to our opening, shows how Irish companies are leading the way and winning substantial investment to bring about the future required to make all vehicles on the road to be electric!
