EasyGo Shared Charging Project

EasyGo Shared Charging Project

The Shared Charging Project is an innovative initiative that allows homeowners with electric vehicle (EV) chargers to open their chargers to neighbors and other EV drivers, turning their homes into accessible charging hubs. Through this project, homeowners can generate additional income by offering their chargers for public use, while also promoting sustainable transportation and fostering a sense of community. This project aims to reduce the barriers to EV adoption and create a more interconnected, environmentally conscious neighborhood.

Objectives
  • Enable homeowners to share their EV chargers with family, friends, neighbors and the wider community.
  • Allow homeowners/business owners to generate revenue by renting out their chargers when not in use.
  • Promote sustainability by increasing the availability of EV charging infrastructure.
  • Strengthen community bonds through shared resources and mutual support.
You don’t need to own an EV to participate. If you have a driveway, or if you own a small business, Airbnb, or B&B, you can install an EV charger and make it available to the community. This is a great opportunity to provide a valuable service to EV drivers and generate additional income.
Homeowners or business owners can sign up to share their chargers with neighbors and the wider community. Once registered, your charger will be listed on the EasyGo platform, where EV drivers of your choice can easily find and access it. The host can choose the times and hours that the charger is available for the public.
